Day 1: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest On arrival at Kigali airport transfer to the Uganda border, then onto your overnight stay in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and the Virunga mountains. Impressive volcanic peaks dominate the park and provide an ideal habitat for the mountain gorilla. Gorilla Safari Lodge. Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest You trek to visit one of the few mountain gorilla families remaining. Approximately 700 mountain gorillas are left in the wild and a visit to see them is an exceptional travel experience. You spend around one hour with a troop of these rare creatures as they go about their daily life. Gorilla Safari Lodge. Day 3: Kigali Transfer to Kigali. Enjoy a city tour of Kigali, including a poignant visit to the Genocide Memorial, which was erected on the 10th anniversary of the Rwandan Genocide in April 2004. Gorillas Golf Hotel. Day 4: Arusha Transfer to the airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro airport (flight not included). On arrival you are transferred to Arusha, where you spend the night, ready for your safari tomorrow. Lake Duliti Serena Hotel. Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park You drive to Lake Manyara where your lodge overlooks the

lake. The national park is famous for its tree climbing lions and flamingo population. Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. Days 6-7: Serengeti National Park After a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park your journey continues to the Serengeti, home to over three million animals. The Serengeti ecosystem supports not only the largest herds of migrating ungulate, but also the highest concentrations of large carnivores in the world. At a quick glance, the numbers are astonishing. During your two day stay you take several game drives. Serengeti Serena Lodge. Days 8-9: Ngorongoro Crater Two night stay at Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast on your second day you descend 2,000 feet into the crater. You spend a whole day game viewing in the crater, which is home to an estimated 25,000 animals. This natural ‘zoo’ is a highlight of any safari in east Africa. Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. Day 10: Tarangire National Park Today you head east to Tarangire, where you take a game drive. The park is famous for its huge elephant herds and thousands of distinctive baobab trees. Tarangire Sopa Lodge. Day 11: Arusha This morning you journey to Arusha, or Kilimanjaro airport, where your safari ends.
