South Korea is an East Asian nation on the southern half of the Korean Peninsula. It’s known for green, hilly countryside and centuries-old Buddhist temples, plus its coastal fishing villages, tropical islands and high-tech cities such as Seoul, the capital of South Korea. Especially in Seoul, you can experience an unique and attractive Korean culture, and there are numerous kinds of imposing places making you have a splendid time.


HUFS(Hankuk University of Foreign Studies) was founded in 1954 to develop young person’s ability to acquire international perspective. This university is widely recognized as the highly qualified education in the field of foreign language. Numerous diplomats and ambassadors who represent Korea have been provided by HUFS. Also, it has a Graduate School of Interpretation & Translation, which trains experts of translating who are needed to work in the international conferences.


SAVE THEM, LOVE THEM, LIVE WITH THEM

♼ CHANCE project has an aim to let many people know the critical situation of animals suffering from cruelty or diseases got by humans, and to make an effort in order to prevent the circumstances and protect lots of animals. In addition, we are planning to do some activities for environmental protection.


1. Activities 1) Visiting the zoo and the botanical garden to be familiar with animals and plants 2) Doing volunteer works at the shelter of abandoned dogs 3) Visiting the animal adoption center to get some information by doing interview the animal expert

2. Education 1) Getting knowledge from the lecture, sharing opinions and discussing, and reading books or articles related to the issues 2) Teaching children in the English kindergarten or students in elementary schools with activities such as a play-role and a storytelling


3. Campaign 1) It includes Promoting, photo exhibition, fund raising, collecting promise papers. 2) Making all the stuff for the campaign (panels, photos, advertisements etc.)

4. UCC & Magazine 1) Making a UCC which influences people to be concerned about the animals and environment problem 2) Arranging all the series of activities about the our project in the magazine. (movie report, opinion about issues, interview result, experience report)

5. Knowing about Korea and Learning language of each country 1) Knowing about Korean history 2) Understanding Korean culture 3) Learning Korean Language(Hangeul) 4) Teaching your own language to each other
