in Jacksonville, Florida. We then moved to Jacksonville, 21 North Carolina where I lived while he was deployed to Afghanistan. Afterward, we finally moved home to Texas. What a whirlwind! Who knew 10 years ago how much our love would grow and steer us into the direction of our wonderful life together? We now live in Longview where I work with my mother at Ann’s Petals. Ricky is currently in anesthesia school and will graduate in December. We have a 6-year-old son, Andrew, and a little one on the way. We will welcome our new baby in January. I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since our announcement was in The Wedded Bliss. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the magazine to see the pictures. I still remember our wedding like it was yesterday; the dress, the look on Ricky’s face when I walked down the aisle, the flowers, food, family and friends. The Miss Mary's Place story is as charming as the venue itself. As children, sisters Jan Eubank VanMeter and Kerri Eubank Lattery, and their brothers, Mark and Mike Eubank, would walk along a trail in Peatown, Texas, to visit Miss Mary who lived in a little country farm house at the end of an old road. Daffodils, pansies, roses, and lilies bloomed beneath ancient oak trees and crepe myrtles, creating an atmosphere of sweetlyscented natural beauty. They are a rich East Texas resource, a layout design service, an inspiration hub, and they are dedicated to helping clients throughout their event planning journey. Founded in 2014 by father-daughter team Andy and Amanda Jones, Tyler Tents and Events goes beyond the average rental shop. You will not see a traditional sales counter when you enter the store, but instead desks with comfortable chairs for clients to sit in and

After college she went to Austin and worked for a top 40 event rental company where she learned a lot about what it takes to produce large events, make and care for linens in-house, and drape tents. From there she worked for an event design company where she learned about creating and designing lounge furniture, producing large transformations, and creating show-stopping event pieces. In 2012, she decided to be closer to family and moved back to East Texas. “I noticed a need for a more design-focused, special-event rental company in the area and decided to take the leap into ownership.”
