Furthering musical education Staff Reporter Wanaka Sun Members of the Wanaka Musicians Society presented cheques from last year’s 20th anniversary Stars in Your Eyes show to six local principals on Thursday. Producer Mike Baulk, committee and band member Steve Brett, society secretary and assistant director Toni Collins and society president Jamie Robertson are pictured. Requests for instruments and visiting music tutors were among the items on the wish list each school produced for the society to fulfill. Toni said it was the first time they had asked recipients to make a wish list and the society managed almost all of the requests.
