Estimator - Wanaka

GJ Gardner is the leading builder of quality homes in NZ, and is experiencing continuing growth nationally. We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our Wanaka team.

The person appointed to this role will be responsible for the following:

• Prepare estimates.

• Full take-off, & pricing of plans using our in-house costing system.

• Price and prepare client variations.

• Liase with suppliers & sub-contractors.

• Prepare management reports.

The ideal applicant for this role will have previous experience working as an Estimator in residential home building in New Zealand, be familiar with the Building Code, and know how a house ‘goes together’. You must be client focused, and able to work without supervision, while also being committed to meeting deadlines and following specific franchise policies and procedures.

Excellent communication and written language abilities are essential. Training will be given on using our in-house software. Applicants will require a proficient level of computer literacy.

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience in the industry.
