BRUCE RETURNS TO ITS ROOTS Greenwich’s Bruce Museum is featuring a retrospective of the work of Charles Harold Davis, an American landscapist who was the leader of a Mystic artists’ colony, Sept. 26, 1 Museum Drive, Greenwich. The Bruce Museum’s first art exhibition, organized by the Green-

wich Society of Artists in 1912, highlighted the work of Connecticut impressionists and landscapists. Soon after, the Bruce purchased eight original works from local artists, including “The Old Pasture” from Charles Harold Davis.

Breast Cancer Alliance (BCA) is partnering with more than 50 Greenwich merchants to present “Go For Pink,” a day of shopping and events dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Scheduled for Oct. 1 in the town of Greenwich, “Go For Pink” brings the community to-

gether to raise awareness and funding for breast cancer research, education, detection and support. Most participating merchants are donating 10 percent of their day’s sales to BCA. Registration for merchants to participate is available online at bcagoforpink.org.
