DERBY140 wrap-up
The finest chefs from horse racing destinations across the country shared their culinary expertise at the Fifth Annual Taste of Derby, presented by Stella Artois at the Kentucky Exposition Center on May 1. Cooking masters from such locales as Los Angeles’s Santa Anita Park, Houston’s Delta Downs, Keeneland in Lexington and Bravo’s “Top Chef,” as well as Louisville’s own Churchill Downs, presented unique regional flavors, with entertainment provided by the high-energy dance band Az Izz from Atlanta, Ga.

Taste of Derby raises funds and awareness for the Dare to Care Food Bank, the local nonprofit charity that leads Louisville in feeding the hungry and conquering the cycle of need through innovative programs and by partnering with over 300 local agencies to distribute food to those in the community who need it most.
