USASA is a series of snowboard competitions that travels to various participating resorts throughout the Western New York region, inviting riders to rise to the top and earn points in slalom, giant slalom, halfpipe, slopestyle, and boardercross events. At the end of the series, those with the most points are given the prestigious invitation to compete in their respective events at Nationals, this year to be held at Copper Mountain, Colorado April 4-10. Allan’s 7 studio albums and Greatest Hits Package have produced 22 singles on Billlboard’s Hot Country Songs charts including three #1 hits: “Man to Man” and “Tough Little Boys” in 2003, and “Nothing but the Radio” in 2004, with seven others reaching top ten status. Wessel has been working in PR for twenty-five years. By 1991, he was ready to branch off on his own and began Recognition, now known as Bullpen PR.
The Canadian-American Sledders Inc. is putting on its annual Trappers Special Sled Dog Race Saturday, January 30 and Sunday, January 31 at Allegany State Park in the Quaker area. Canadian-American Sledders Inc. is a small organization established in 1962 as a way for members to enjoy experiences and lessons learned from their dogs. It is a non-profit organization consisting of 6 board members and about 50 club members. The club relies on its close-knit members to pitch in and get things ready for races and meetings, including its longest running sled dog race, the Trappers Special. This will be the 31st year running for the races and a good wintry storm can’t come too soon. It will be needed to sustain hopes of holding this year’s edition of the Camp Turner Sled Dog Races at Allegany State Park. Dave Lewis is a past president of the Canadian-American Sledders, Inc.
