Beat on the Street: What Do You Predict Will Happen in America Under Trump’s Presidency?

By Chad Neal Politics as usual is spewing from the media outlets everywhere. The losing side of the election is demanding a recount and the winning side is deriding the losing side. It’s a circus and it is selling ads left and right, pun intended. The new President Elect, like it or not is Donald Trump. Seen as joke when he first touted running for Chief Executive, is now a reality. Watching the social media and mainstream media outlets proves that people are really afraid of the over zealous reports of hatred and bigotry tied to republican campaign platform. The voters who wanted Trump elected are happy, some surprised, but there are some who are taunting the fans of losing candidate Hillary Clinton. It looks like a pathetic schoolyard spat on some social media sites, as both sides of the gambit have something to say. The more moderate of the losing side are using intellectual humor to prove their point and the more critical seem to be extremely scared. While the Trump fans seem to be either quietly satisfied or some are taunting and browbeating. Come January 20th we will have a new President. What do you predict will happen in America under Trump’s presidency?

Kris K.- Only one way to test a shark suit.

Tom R.- SNL[Saturday Night Live] will have record ratings.

Gary L.- Nothing will happen. Things will strangely not change at all.

Come join instructor Cathy Lacy, At The Ellicottville Memorial Library, on Tuesday, December 13th from 6 to 8 pm for this German paper cutting class. This art form involves making small cuts into paper to create designs. Artists often create visually elaborate designs that incorporate landscapes, flowers, trees, animals and hearts.
