Regatta Week Wrap Up

What will I see on Routes to Art? Routes to Art showcases artists and artisans working in a wide range of media including painting, photography, jewelry, sculpture, fiber arts, wood carving, ceramics, beading, pottery, and

more. During Routes to Art weekend, the artists are available to answer questions and demonstrate how they create their work. Visitors will meet the artists in person, see live demonstrations of their craft, and have a chance to purchase works directly from the people that create them! You may enter a studio and find a watercolor artist demonstrating a technique, watch a woodworker turning a bowl, or see a ceramic artist working with clay. This is a chance to see more of an artist’s work than you would at a typical venue. For more information o visit, myartscouncil.net/routes-toart.html

Now, our title means something entirely different to a Michigan State alum, but this time of year you won’t catch me replying “Go White”! No, to the contrary, I had just about all I could handle with the cold, rainy and windy weather! “Go Green” means it’s my favorite time of the year, when the trees are budding, my annuals are coming along nicely out in the garden, and the lawn is in desperate need of its first haircut. Spring is finally here! Springtime in Cattaraugus County is very special – if
