In July 1997 after learning more about the free service offered by Mortgage Choice, and successfully refinancing my own home loan, I bought a franchise on Sydney’s North Shore and haven’t looked back since. At the time, Mortgage Choice itself was only five years young, having commenced national operations in 1992. Over the years I have seen the business grow and change with the times, but one thing has been a constant – repeat business through happy clients! I believe my success stems from my own love of all things property and an exceptional level of customer service. In October 2000, whilst the rest of the world was watching the Sydney Olympics, I was busy renovating and opening the shop in ‘The Village’ at Lane Cove, where we still operate. Something I have always promoted is the importance of having a great team of professionals around you to support your property goals. This also translates into my business and as it has grown and changed, so have my staffing needs. In 2017, Tony, Emily and Emma assist me in meeting and exceeding client expectations. Although interest rates, lender policy and property prices have certainly changed in 20 years, the pleasure that comes from assisting my clients to achieve their property ownership dreams still remains the same, and at the end of the day, this is why I’m still here!
