What is iReport? CNN producer note sjunat55 noticed the Rector Street subway station in New York was covered in Doomsday posters signaling Judgment Day on May 21, 2011, on his way to work. 'A Staten Island man has bought ad space in bus shelters, subway stations and cars to the tune of $140,000 to announce a prediction of a global earthquake on 5/21/11,' he said. - zdan, CNN iReport producer
iReport — During the past week, ads announcing a "Global Earthquake" on May 21, 2011 have popped up in New York City bus shelters. subway station platforms and cars. According to local news reports, Robert Fitzpatrick. a retired NYC transit worker and Staten Island resident, has spent about $140.000 in the ads, what they call most of his life savings. The ads also promote a self-published book by Fitzpatrick. "The Doomsday Code". According to him, it all points to doomsday events coming up on May 21, 2011. Here are some photos of one of the subway station posters. this one at the Rector Street platform in lower Manhattan, blocks from the financial district and the World Trade Cnter site.
