Today’s Talent Crisis T H E WA R F O R TO P-TA L E N T In the new economy, capital is abundant, ideas are developed quickly, competition is global, and technological dominance is often short-lived. In this environment, the prime source of an organization’s competitive advantage is its people. As McKinsey & Co. said in their prescient “War for Talent” study nearly twenty years ago, “all that matters is talent.
