Honors band
Sixteen students represented Osceola High School band with pride at the 2017 Upper St. Croix Valley District Honors Band on Monday, January 9. They were led by directors Paul Kyle and Bruce Thornton in rehearsals all day as well as a concert that night. “We are very proud of these students!” said band director Art Aytay. is a freshman. He is the son of Nora Eiesland and David Huebsch. Hahns’ most enjoyable class is Science with Mr. Cormican, and he participates in Soccer, Skiing, Music. He spends his free time playing music, skiing and snowboarding. His goal is to ski in the Alps.
TRAYONNO SCOTT
is a freshman. She is the daughter of Jake & Tabitha Dodge. Elliana’s most enjoyable class is Pre-Chemistry, and she participates in Tennis, Basketball, Softball, Forensics, and Band. She spends her free time practicing her instruments, playing sports, and with friends and family. Her goal is to work in the medical field.

Katie’s most enjoyable class is Chemistry, and sshe participates in Basketball, Track, Volleyball, FCA, Empty Bowls Club, Capitals Club, and FFA. She spends her free time playing and watching sports.. Her goal is to someday make a difference.

is a junior. He is the son of Kevin & Justin Kunkel-Smith and Jodi Rasmussen. Noah’s most enjoyable class is AP U.S. History, and he participates in Drama Club, Football, Mathletes, FFA, and Jazz Band. He spends his free time building AFV models, playing bass guitar and reading. His goal is to teach History at a the high school or university level.

Samantha’s most enjoyable class is AP English, and she participates in National Honor Society, Math M Team, Student Council, Jazz Band, BOWL Club, Volleyball and Track. She spends her free time painting, taking pictures and reading. She aspires to use Art, Math and Science to make a meaningful contribution to the world.

is a senior. She is the daughter of Kathy & Corey Ulrich. Grace’s most enjoyable e class is Sculpture, and she participates in FCA, Track & Field, and Bowl Club. She spends her free time cheering on the Chiefs at sporting events and spending time wwith friends and family. Her goal is to attend Mankato University.
