Made in the UK, the premium adhesive has excellent wet grab properties and early build up of strength and is suitable for the installation of carpet with all types of backing. Ultrabond Eco TX3 is particularly suitable for commercial projects subjected to heavy foot and castor wheel traffic, including hotels, offices, airports, restaurants etc. The adhesive is solvent-free, certified Emicode EC1 Plus (very low emissions of VOC) and is now available in 15kg tubs. Ultrabond Eco TX3 is the first of three new adhesives joining Mapei’s re-branded Ultrabond Eco Adhesives range. Simon goes South for F Ball F. Ball and Co. Ltd. has appointed Simon Jenkins as its southern area sales manager. Simon was previously F. Ball technical representative for the North London area for 12 years. During this time, he provided expert advice on subfloor preparation and floorcovering installation to flooring contractors, distributors and retailers, including conducting site visits and advising on the best course of action for particular flooring projects where F. Ball products were used. He will now manage and support the company’s network of regional technical representatives across the south of England and work closely with F. Ball wholesalers to grow sales whilst identifying and developing new market opportunities. Simon began his career in the flooring industry after leaving university in 1998, when he started working for a friend’s family’s flooring distribution business. He later held sales and on-site technical support roles at other well-known flooring industry companies before joining F. Ball in 2008. Commenting on his promotion, Simon said: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to progress my career and develop new skills within a company I love working for. Apart from growing sales in difficult circumstances following coronavirus and lockdown, the main challenge will be building on the great work of an already successful team. Paul heads label specialist CPS Group, a major supplier of labels to the carpet sector, has appointed one of the best known names in the bed industry, Paul Little, as the new group managing director. Paul will be responsible for the strategic development and leadership of the group with a view to taking its growth within the UK and wider European markets to the next level. Said Paul, who has spent the past 14 years as executive sales and marketing director at Relyon and Steinhoff UK Beds: “I am really excited to join a progressive forward thinking and dynamic company at a very exciting time. I look forward to working with the team and helping to lead them into a new chapter of the group’s growth.” During his time at Relyon, Paul was responsible for relaunching the Dunlopillo brand in the UK. He said: “That, alongside developing an outstanding sales and marketing team with whom I worked to significantly grow the business, was my proudest achievement.” CPS was established 30 years ago by group owner Simon Green and is now one of the UK’s leading specialist print companies.
