Anthony Sutton August. A time of change. Summer activities are quieting down, travel plans are nearing completion, and life transitions into fall festivities. For a lot of families, August represents the start of a new school year (including our first child in kindergarten this year!). For others, August can mean sending a child off to college. And for some, August begins the quintessential experiences of a young lawyer: the beginning of law school, the beginning of a new year as a student, or that first job experience after graduation and the bar exam.

As part of our re-evaluation process, the YLS Board is looking forward to continuing our conversations throughout this year about our vision and mission, how we can better serve the needs of young lawyers and law students, and how we can continue providing services to the public as part of the State Bar.
