Make The Change
The Junior Art Scholars began back in September with a brief from The Big Draw entitled 'Make The Change'. This project was a of 2020-21 and pupils decided to respond to the climate crisis and our part in it. Beginning with well known imagery of human ev steps as witness to the development of cities and loss of vegetation, pupils used a range of drawing materials to create this mu created during our Monday evening sessions. This project was an attempt to make sense of the events 21 and pupils decided to respond to the climate crisis and our part in it. Beginning with well known imagery of human evolution and the idea to retrace our loss of vegetation, pupils used a range of drawing materials to create this mural that will be exhibited alongside prints created during our Monday evening sessions. 'Walking Backwards From The Past' can be seen in the Birley Centre foyer from Friday 28th Jan - 12th Feb.
