Alex and Josh’s love story began on a train to Florence, Italy, to shop at San Lorenzo Market. While studying abroad, they were able to cultivate a colorful life-style full of exuberance and wine. As their love blossomed to a new chapter of for-ever, they knew their wedding needed to show their passion for picturesque architecture, vivid colors, and tantalizing catering. Butterflies were an absolute must, as Josh proposed at Citta’ delle Farfalle, known as the City of Butterflies. Flowers were a major factor in planning as they brought a lot of naturalism to their modernized Italianesque venue. Alex wanted everything to be cohesive with the colors. Still, she wanted a lot of asymmetric details of the ceremony arch, reception crown, and various arrangements at each table. Infusing Italian and American culture, guests could indulge in burgers and beers with a watermelon salad during cocktail hour as pasta fulfilled the main course. It was a fun filled evening of romance during the bistro and candlelight.
