Independence has been secured for Scotland, and now big decisions must be taken.

All ALBA members believe in Scotland’s right to self determination and believe that Scotland should remain as an independent nation.

We firmly believe in the power of the people of Scotland and the sovereignty of the people of our nation. As such, we believe in the republicanism and believe that Scotland must remain as a republic.

We believe in Scotland’s membership of the European Union, and will begin efforts to join the European Union at the earliest possibility.

Scotland can play a vital role in European politics, and we must grasp this opportunity.

Scotland is comparable to many other European nations, and we can work with them to build a Europe that works for everyone. Independence has proved to be a success for Scotland, as we now have the power to make all of our own decisions.
