Scotland is a land of energy plenty. ALBA believe that we should use this to our advantage and build an economy that is supported by our vast energy resources.

ALBA will seek to abolish the council tax and replace it with a ‘local tax’ that is much more fairer that the current taxation system.
ALBA will seek to ensure that public finances are stable and protected.
We will establish a national investment bank and a rural investment bank, to provide funds to projects and communities across our nation.
ALBA will seek to introduce a budget bill to parliament to provide further funding to the NHS, Transport and Rural Connectivity. ALBA firmly believe in ensuring that our economy is protected from instability. We will invest into the rural economy like never before, and we will work to ensure that communities are not fully reliant on income from tourism.
Through greater public investment and a programme of economic growth, ALBA will seek to build the strongest possible economy.
