elazoski Wood Products, Inc. began as Thos. Zelazoski Mfg. Co. in 1924 in an old blacksmith shop in the area of 4th Ave and Superior Street. In 1928 we began making wooden blocks for the brush and broom industry, which has been our mainstay ever since. We moved to 10th and Edison Street in the 1940s and into our current facility in 1997. Over the years we have tried to even out the peaks and valleys of the brush block business by making other products. We have made crutches, cutlery racks, fishing lures, just about anything out of wood. In 2006 we began to make baseball bats for RockBats, which has been the preferred bat of Corey Hart for the last 4 years. While baseball bats are a small portion of our business, it is by far the most visible item we manufacture.

TRAILS ATV Trails Augustyn Springs Trail: The Augustyn Springs Trail is approximately 20 miles of rolling to very hilly terrain. This two-way trail is open to motor vehicle traffic, snowmobilers, hikers, skiers and many other recreationalists. Parking is on Highway A, 8 miles northeast of Neva. Parrish Highlands Trail: This 55 mile trail meets up with the Lincoln County ATV trail system. Trail riding is not allowed in the early spring due to wetness. There are three parking areas for the Parrish/ Highlands trail. Highway Q, at the Oneida/Langlade County line; Highway H, 2 miles south of Highway 17/Q; and Highway T, 3 miles west of Highway 45 in Summit Lake.
Pickerel/Pearson ATV Trail: Located between Post Lake & Pickerel, this trail connects the Parrish/Highlands ATV trail and the Augustyn Springs ATV trail. This trail runs along either side of Rolling Stone Lake, and along the east side of Pickerel Lake. White Lake ATV Trail: The White Lake ATV trail is one of the shortest trails in the area. Parking is available in two places, Sherry Road, 1.25 miles north of Highway 64 in Polar; and Highway M/Maple Street, in downtown White Lake. An additional section that connects with Oconto County trails, on Highway 55 just south of Hollister, WI.
Cycling/Mountain Biking Springbrook Trail The trail is a 10 foot wide, 2 mile combination of asphalt, boardwalk and wood chip paths along Antigo Lake and Spring Brook. The trailhead is on Fourth Avenue in Antigo, east of Hwy 45. Gartzke Flowage The Gartzke Flowage Recreation Area trails are located entirely on Langlade County property east of Antigo off 5th Avenue Road. Trail length is 5.5 miles and has a variety of trails for all abilities. Moccasin Lake The trail oversees two river basins; the Prairie flowing west, and the Hunting flowing east.
On the eastern leg the view overlooks a vast black spruce swamp which extends all the way to and beyond Elcho. The far end offers three fun hills; the Luge, the Expressway, and the Muskellunge. The trail is located north of Antigo off Moccasin Lake Road. Trail length is 5.5 miles in length. Nicolet Roche Trail The Nicolet Roche Mountain Bike Trail is located in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The 14 mile trail is located on the south end at Boulder Lake Campground & Boat Landing 1.8 miles northeast of Hwy 55 via Cty WW and Forest Road 2116. On the north end on Hwy 64, 3.3 miles east of Langlade.

Veteran’s Memorial Park Veteran’s Memorial Park offers 12 miles of clearly marked trails consisting of a combination of mowed grass, gravel or hard packed soil. The trailhead is located within Langlade County’s Veteran’s Memorial Park 15 miles north of Antigo. Trail is 12 miles in length.
Hiking Trails Ackley Wildlife Area Just west of Antigo is the Ackley Wildlife Area where hikers have great opportunities to view waterfowl, deer and other wildlife. Springbrook Trail The trail is a 10 foot wide, 2 mile combination of asphalt, boardwalk and wood chip paths along Antigo Lake and Spring Brook. The trailhead is on Fourth Avenue in Antigo, east of Hwy 45. Access is also available off Virginia Street, north of Hwy 64/Fifth Avenue, or park at North Elementary school. The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest covers the eastern portion of Langlade County and offers many opportunities for hiking on its roads. Gartzke Trails The trail is located entirely on Langlade County property east of Antigo off of 5th
Avenue Road. It’s approximately 5.5 miles in length and has a variety of trails for all abilities. Ice Age Trail Langlade County offers 50 miles of the thousand-mile Ice Age Trail, divided into five segments: 13-mile Kettlebowl, 12-mile Lumbercamp, 9.5 mile Old Railroad, 12 mile Highland Lakes and 12-mile Parrish Hills. Veteran’s Memorial Park Veteran’s Memorial Park offers many miles of wellmarked nature trails that feature a loop around an underdeveloped lake and an arboretum with over 500 plant species.
Horseback Riding Evergreen Riding Trail The Evergreen Trail is located on Langlade County property as well as private property east of Antigo. It is approximately 10.5 miles in length and offers a variety of trails and scenic beauty. The trail is marked throughout its course with horseshoe signs. Facilities include a parking area, restrooms and a picnic shelter. Located east of Antigo off of Fraley Road in Elton.

Jack Lake Cross-Country Ski Trail The Jack Lake Cross-Country Ski Trail is 15 miles in length. It is appropriate for all abilities. Facilities include a parking area, restrooms and a warming shelter. Directions: Travel north on Hwy 45 to Hwy J. Turn east on Hwy J and travel approximately 2 miles. Trailhead will be on your left.
XC Skiing Antigo Lake Trail The City of Antigo offers two miles of cross-country loops on the Antigo Lake trail. Access is available from the Byrne Street, the dead-end of Virginia Street or behind North Elementary School. loops. One loop crosses Rose Lake, so before skiing be sure to check ice conditions on the lake. From Langlade, follow Hwy 55 about 4 miles north to Sawyer Lake Road (FR 2122). Turn right and go about 2 miles to the parking area. Moccasin Lake Cross-Country Ski Trail 5.5 miles long and designed for all abilities. Facilities include parking area, restrooms, warming shelter with firewood and tables. Directions: Travel north on Hwy 45 approximately 18 miles. Turn left onto Enterprise Lake Road. West on Moccasin Lake Road to Bear Road. South on Bear Road one mile to trail head.

Snowmobiling Snowmobile Trails in Langlade County are developed and maintained by the Langlade County Forestry and Recreation Department, and 11 area volunteer snowmobile
clubs with over 530 miles of state approved and user funded snowmobile trails.
Snowshoe Trails Gartzke Flowage The trail is approximately 5.5 miles in length and has a variety of trails for all abilities. It is managed by the Langlade County Forestry and Recreation Department and the Antigo Bike and Ski Club. Jack Lake Trail The trail system is designed for hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and horseback riding. Motor vehicles are prohibited on these trials. The trailhead is located within Langlade County’s Veteran’s Memorial Park. Sled Dog Trail Located in the Evergreen Forest Management Unit. The trail head is located on Fraley Road and a public parking area is developed along with a restroom facility.

The City of Antigo has over 100 acres of park space and 21 parks within the city limits. The 2.25 mile Springbrook Trail includes a combination of paved trail, rough trail, and 1,800 feet of boardwalk. A 9-hole disc golf course sponsored and funded by local businesses is located along the trail as well as Duffek Island, a peaceful stop to enjoy fun with your family while young children play on the playground.
