Terrell Chamber of Commerce, board members, committees, and volunteers work year-round to ensure we are providing value to our members. The following are just a few of the programs and services available to members. If you’re not a member, join us today so you can take advantage of these great benefits!

Business Networking Mixers are held quarterly after work hours. These mixers bring professionals together at a Chamber member host’s location to spotlight their business. It provides members an opportunity to exchange business cards, make new contacts, and have fun!

Morning Mingle is a monthly networking breakfast that allows you the opportunity to network with other professionals. Each attendee will get 30 seconds to tell the group about their business or announce a promotion. The Morning Mingle is typically held the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7:30 a.m. at the Fairfield by Marriott. We may opt to hold the event virtually if needed.

New Member Orientation will be offered to new members to inform them of member benefits and how to take advantage of all membership has to offer. It will include an overview of how to update and maintain your Member Information Center page, where you can post jobs, news, promotions and more. You will have a better understanding of ways to plug into the community, plus insight on how to share information about your business with our community.

Chamber Luncheons are held monthly on the third Monday of the month at 11:30 a.m. These meetings are open to members and provide our executive committee, key community leaders, and members an opportunity to give updates on various projects and activities. New members get a chance to introduce themselves. It is an excellent venue to make and renew connections

The Annual Membership Meeting &

Industrial Recognition Luncheon, hosted by the Chamber and Terrell Economic Development Corporation each February, recognizes industry milestones and key volunteers from the prior year.

The Small Business Development

Center (SBDC) at Trinity Valley Community College partners with the Chamber to host seminars focused on small businesses. Individual counseling sessions are also available to small business owners. The local SBDC rep is at the Chamber office on the first Wednesday of each month from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. You can make an appointment by calling the office at 972-524-5703.

The Terrell Small Business

Organization meets monthly and coordinates on a variety of events throughout the year, including Happy Days in Terrell America—National Mom & Pop Business Owners Day and Shop Home for the Holidays—Small Business Saturday.

Community Profile & Referral

Guide is this publication. Listing in this business referral directory is exclusive to Chamber members. Members are included in both the categorical and alphabetical sections and will be offered paid advertising opportunities. The directory is distributed to visitors, residents, prospective Member, and those who are new to the area or considering relocating. It is also available online.

Ribbon cuttings are hosted for all new chamber members. Members and staff will be at the ribbon cutting to welcome you into the Chamber. A photo of the ribbon cutting, along with a brief description of your business, will be included in a ¼ page full color ad in the Terrell Tribune (a $250 value). The photo with caption will also be included in the Chamber Spotlight newsletter.

The Chamber Spotlight newsletter

is published bi-monthly (six times per year) and includes updates on upcoming community events, new membership announcements, membership renewals, small business spotlight, volunteer spotlight, community news, chamber activities and accomplishments. This printed publication is included in the Terrell Tribune, as well as emailed or mailed to members.

The weekly e-mail newsletter is sent to all Chamber members, as well as potential members and subscribers. It includes new member listings, job listings, member announcements, Chamber

announcements, scheduled ribbon cuttings, and a list of upcoming events.

Exposure for member businesses

to the community is a key benefit exclusive to our members. Your business is published in this annual business directory, as well as the online business directory found on our website. Your promotions, events, job postings, and announcements can also be shared through our website, weekly electronic newsletter and social channels. Our weekly e-newsletter goes to more than 1,500 subscribers, our Facebook page has more than 7,000 followers, and we have 992 followers on Instagram. New members, renewals and community events are also published on our TV kiosks located in the Chamber lobby and at The Shops at Terrell’s Visitor’s Center.

Marketing consulting is available to members who need guidance on things such as claiming or creating your Google business listing, establishing a Facebook page for your business, setting up a Facebook event or ad, designing promotional flyers, as well as other marketing needs.

Business referrals to walk-ins at the Chamber, email or phone inquiries are exclusive to chamber members.

Automatic dues payments and plans are available if you opt to store a credit card on file in our system. Choose the frequency that best fits your budget: annual, semi-annual, quarterly or monthly. Automatic renewal ensures your business is included in the Community Profile and Referral Guide each year.
