The Select Group To Run Raleigh Rocks Fundraiser To Support UNC Children’s Hospital RALEIGH, N.C. – March 8, 2012 – Sheldon Wolitski, founder and CEOof The Select Group, an IT and Engineering recruiting firm in Raleigh, has announced that the company will participate in the upcoming Raleigh Rocks Half Marathon, 5K Race, 1-Mile Raceand Kids Dash to support UNCChildren’s Hospital. The annual fundraising event will be held April 1 at the PNCArena, formerly the RBCCenter. The company has invited all staff to participate in the event, which raises funds for UNCChildren’s Hospital. As an added incentive, The Select Group will make a donation on behalf of all employeeswho participate in any of the event’s races. This includes not only employees in the company’s Raleigh headquarters but also those in satellite offices throughout the country. This is not the first fundraising endeavor that The Select Group has fulfilled to benefit UNCChildren’s Hospital. Most recently, the company helped create The Select Group Music Library at the hospital, which was constructed to make musical devices more accessible to patients. “Since 2001, we have supported UNCChildren’s Hospital in various ways,” Wolitski says. “Most recently, it hit closer to home when we found out that the daughter of one of our customers spent six months at the hospital.
