This dance of sun and earth has inspired celebrations of the human spirit throughout the ages. Our own Winter Solstice Lantern Festival illuminates the night with a multicultural array of lanterns, fire, singing, dancing, music, and storytelling. Sign up for a workshop to prepare for Dec 21 and join in on the glowing constellation of lanterns in your community. Check out www.secretlantern.org for more details.
LABYRINTH OF LIGHT Thu Dec 21, 6-11pm Gym TICKETS $8, register for a timed ticket at www.secretlantern.org Experience a visually beautiful and meditative walk through an ancient labyrinth lit with more than 600 pure beeswax candles. To assist with the closing ritual from 10:30pm, please speak with the Labyrinth Host. This is an all ages event.
