June 2022 Playground (15)

A school playground becomes the stage for a heartbreakingly intimate take on bullying, shifting loyalties and loss of innocence in this impressive first feature. 7-year-old Nora’s struggles to fit in with her new school are further complicated when she witnesses her older brother being bullied, but her attempts to resolve the situation only make things worse.

Benediction (12A)

Benediction explores the turbulent life of WWI poet Siegfried Sassoon; a complex man who survived the horrors of fighting in the First World War and was decorated for his bravery, but who became a vocal critic of the government's continuation of the war when he returned from service.

Wild Men (15)

In this inventive and highly entertaining Scandi comedy, a man misguidedly attempts to deal with his midlife crisis by abandoning his family to live a nomadic hunter gatherer life high in the Norwegian mountains. A chance meeting with a fugitive hash dealer sets the unlikely duo on an off-kilter trip through the fjords, with bewildered family, ruthless drug dealers and hapless cops in pursuit.
