Quick Overviews Commercial Digital Technologies CDT
In January of 2018, Thermo Fisher Scientific made significant changes to our organization structures, putting leadership team members in more strategic rolls across functions, introducing Agile ways of working, and putting into place additional Agile product development teams. The Commercial Digital Technologies (CDT) team uses data derived from our strong customer insights and touchpoints to drive strategic decision-making for product development and expansion. We are raising the bar with our approach---a significant shift moving forward will be to focus closely on areas not solely procurement-focused, including Accelerating Science with rich content, sharing tools and data workflow and guided processes. We’ll also work to improve Lab Productivity for our customers, focusing on inventory management, asset management and remote monitoring. We partner closely with the Digital Engineering (DE) team, who works in tandem to build and deliver the solutions desired, leveraging a team of over 800 world-class software developers and engineers. Aside from the many integrated processes that ensure our work get done in an efficient, cohesive manner, it is important to note that the Commercial Digital Technologies and Digital Engineering teams are very much owning a #OneTeam philosophy from the top down. The spirit of this philosophy is embodied in activities and in our day-to-day lives throughout the year. You will experience #OneTeam through: •
A collaborative leadership off-site meeting to kick off the year, sharing goals and ensuring transparency
•
Shared annual performance goals cascaded to teams
•
Combined quarterly All Hands meetings to align messages, update on key projects and
