SPONSORSHIP PROPOSAL THE RESTORE NETWORK ANNUAL BANQUET 2024
PREPARED BY: Ashley Alm, Development Director aalm@TheRestoreNetwork.org 618.292.1966
The Foster Care Crisis The purpose of foster care is to protect children, but unfortunately, it can harm them further. The number of children entering Illinois foster care every year is rising at a staggering rate. Once in care, more than a third of them shuffle homes four or more times. They are placed in group facilities or homes with the nearest empty beds, not necessarily the homes best suited to help them heal from their trauma. Why Does This Matter to You? As a business invested in the community, there is an automatic buy-in when it comes to promoting and protecting the health of vulnerable youth in care. These children attend local schools, participate in clubs and athletics, and will one day be the leaders of this community. When you partner with Restore, you are helping make sure children in your community have the opportunity for safe and joyous childhoods, families have the support they need to be successful and communities grow and thrive.
20,000 Children are in foster care in the state of Illinois
475 More will enter the system this month due to abuse or neglect
39% Will change homes four or more times while in care
The Restore Network Response The Restore Network cares for foster families so they can focus on helping children heal. While The Restore Network is a faith-based organization, all are welcome to be a part of the solution. We serve all people, regardless of religion or any other factor. We seek to work alongside people of all walks of life who share our vision to change the culture of foster care so every child experiences healing.
Recruit. We start by aiming to recruit more than enough foster families, so no child is placed simply by the nearest empty bed.
Equip. As families join The Restore Network, we equip them with trauma-informed training and the tools they need to help children heal and grow.
Unite. Next, we work with agencies to match children with Restore families most likely to help them thrive.
Embrace. And, when a child is formally placed in a Restore home, our community launches into action with meals, clothes, beds, car seats, ongoing advocacy, prayers and support that continue as long as the child is there.
Here's the great news. It's working. The majority of children supported by The Restore Network remain in the same home until they are reunited with their biological families or adopted.

An Uncommon Banquet Experience On February 24, 2024, we will host the 8th Annual Restore Network Banquet for the second year at the Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville, IL. Last year we hosted a record number of 656 attendees, and raised over $200,000! Each year, we raise 25% of our entire annual budget at the banquet!
At our last banquet in 2023, we hosted 656 attendees.
Attendees will come from Bond, Greene, Jersey, Madison, Monroe, St. Clair and Williamson Area counties.
Attendees are charitable people who give an average gift of $645.
Restore hosts the banquet every year in a way that is different than many non-profits. Tickets to the event are free, and we do not fundraise through silent auctions or raffles. We simply gather generous people in one space, enjoy a catered dinner, and share the opportunity to change the life of a child in foster care. Our Event Sponsors who cover all hosting expenses are crucial to a successful banquet each year. We are excited to host the 2024 Banquet at the spacious Gateway Convention Center, in Collinsville, IL. This incredible space allows us to invite more individuals to join us in this impactful mission. With the additional space for financial partners, we are seeking 2024 Event Sponsors who will allow us to ensure 100% of the banquet funds raised go directly to helping children in foster care. Will you partner with us to create space for our guests to give generously, knowing all event expenses have been covered through your donation?
