Preschool 2009–2010 Fostering a Love of Learning Our curriculum focuses on hands on activities and experimentation. Activities such as music, movement, dramatic play, science, and open ended art projects help cultivate children’s imaginations and give them confidence to express themselves. Group activities encourage socialization and teach important lessons in sharing and being part of a community. Daily outdoor or gym time helps children develop their large motor skills. Fine motor skills are developed through tabletop activities like puzzles cutting and painting, which also fosters the imagination and cognitive development. In addition, each classroom boasts a computer and digital camera, allowing teachers to integrate technology into the curriculum. Our teachers combine our diverse curriculum with a nurturing environment and a healthy balance of playtime to encourage student’s physical, emotional, and social and creative development. And through encouragement, understanding and respect, they help provide a positive atmosphere for learning. Our program is state licensed and nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, so you can be confident that your child will benefit from superior educators, classroom equipment, and opportunities to help build a solid foundation for his or her future.
Threeschool This is a program we designed just for children who missed the traditional September 1 preschool deadline. Taught by a preschool teacher in a preschool classroom setting, this class engages children through a variety of activities such as songs, stories, free play at learning centers, crafts, outside fun and gym time. Pull ups are okay to begin with, but children should be on their way to taking care of their own toilet needs. Teachers will not be responsible for changing pull ups. Children should bring a light snack each day. 15 minutes will be added to the length of class beginning in January 2010 to prepare the students for a longer preschool day. Class meets the entire school year. Children turning 3 during the school year may register within three months of turning 3 years old while space is available; fees will be prorated. CCIA

Preschool Payment Methods Register in person at CCIA or WRC. Special Registration form and a $25 processing fee are required with all preschool registrations. Payment for the entire school year may be paid in full by check or credit card. For your convenience, we also offer an 8 month payment plan. A $100 deposit is payable upon registration and monthly payments will be deducted from your bank account through our Electronic Funds Transfer option.
