REGISTRATION

2012-2013 The Hoffman Estates Park District’s STAR Before & After School Program is available for children needing before and after school care. The STAR program provides your child a safe environment in a recreational setting. Activities may include but are not limited to art projects, sports and games, outdoor play, card and board games and homework time. A light snack will be offered daily. Before Care is offered from 7:00A until the start of school and After Care is from school dismissal until 6:00P. Three-day and five-day options available.

STAR SCHOOLS

STAR / Kinder Star Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Enrollment is limited. A $25 per child registration fee is required at the time of registration. Nine monthly payments will be deducted from your checking account or credit card through our Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) billing system, on the 10th of the month (August–April). Contact Carolyn Ray for site openings.

KINDER STAR (kindergarten)

Approximately 13 million US children and adolescents are obese, a major risk factor for many serious health conditions including Type 2 diabetes, stroke, heart disease, high blood pressure and certain cancers.

KINDER STAR SCHOOLS

2012-2013 Kinder Star is designed to meet the needs of children who require extended care after morning kindergarten. Activities include art projects, activity time, science, quiet time and monthly field trips. Children will be able to socialize and interact with their kindergarten friends and have a safe place to relax. Sack lunches required daily. A healthy afternoon snack will be provided. Busses will transport children from their schools to either the Willow or Triphahn Center. Children must be enrolled in morning kindergarten.

Child care for children K-6th Grade needing care on school holidays, institute days and in-services. Child care is offered from 7am-6pm, $38 per child. Drop off and pick up will be at the Triphahn Center or Willow Recreation Center. All children must arrive by 9:00A HEPD follows District 54 and District 15 school calendar.
