Corporate Culture Values Assessment

In 2019, Redpath embarked on a Culture Values journey focused on the health and strength of our corporate culture. Using the Culture Transformation Tools of the Barrett Values Centre, the initiative is part of our efforts to become “the employer of choice” - one that both attracts and retains great talent.

Redpath supports local initiatives that benefit communities where we operate. Our support to the North Bay Regional Health Centre amounts to CAD 650,000 in the last 20 years.

Redpath Australia has partnered with MATES in Mining to provide training in mental health and suicide prevention. The training forms the backbone of the company’s Strength in Numbers initiative. The “500 for Zero” safety initiative is a complementary program, where Redpath Australia donates $500 to MATES in Mining for every week of zero injuries across all company sites.

CORPORATE EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)

The program offers 24/7/365 confidential access to a variety of crisis management professionals in all languages. Examples of services include legal, emotional and financial consultancy.

Redpath Australia’s first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) was endorsed in 2022 by Reconciliation Australia, the lead body for reconciliation in Australia. The plan outlines the commitment to developing relationships with Traditional Owners and local community groups, as well as providing employment and sustainable business opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. An internal working group has been established to develop specific initiatives in 2023.

Innu Inuit Redpath Limited Partnership, Redpath’s strategic partnership with Innu Development Limited Partnership and NGC Nunatsiavut Inc., is engaged in work at Voisey’s Bay in Labrador, Canada.

Redpath Africa’s JV with Thonket Mining Services in Ghana undertakes projects in western Africa. Partnerships with local businesses in other parts of Africa go back over 15 years.

ETHICS AND ANTI-CORRUPTION

Redpath’s Compliance Program from 2014 is based on our foundational Philosophy and Guidelines for Success, which have been applied to a system of clear governance and effective risk management. The program helps us monitor and support the ethical health and long-term prosperity of the company. It also assists in promoting and preserving the practice and values of the foundational principles. The program includes our Code of Conduct, global compliance training, incident reporting, and an enforcement and communications component.
