TOOMBA SALE BUYER BONUSES CONDITIONS Under 5 year old Challenge & Under 6 year Futurity
1. BONUS ELIGIBILITY a) To be eligible to compete for these Bonuses, horses must have been offered and sold at the Toomba Invitation Stockhorse Sale in either the Ridden or Led prospects sections of the sale, and the transaction recorded in the sale books of the selling agents. b) To be eligible to compete for these Bonuses, horses must comply with any age restrictions that the Committee of the Horse of The North may determine as part of the entry conditions for the Under 5yo Challenge and / or Futurity Campdraft in any year. Futurity entrants must be under 6 years and not have won an open age event. c) To be eligible to compete for these Bonuses, horses must remain in the ownership of the entity that purchased the horse at the Toomba Invitation Stockhorse Sale at the time it was sold. 2. SPECIAL CONDITION ELIGIBILITY In 2013 horses which are catalogued for the current year’s Toomba Invitation Stockhorse Sale are eligible to compete for these Bonuses in the Horse of the North Futurity Campdraft provided that should a horse, the eligibility of which is a result of this clause solely, win the competition, it must be sold in the current year’s Toomba Invitation Stockhorse Sale and the transaction recorded in the sale books of the selling agents. 80% of the Bonus shall be paid to the purchaser of the horse at the Sale, and 20% of the Bonus shall be paid to the Vendor of the horse at the Sale. Should the winner of the competition not be sold, then the Bonus shall be won by the horse gaining second place and paid in the same percentage, providing that the horse fulfils eligibility conditions. 3. COMPETITION ELIGIBILITY a) ALL HORSES are eligible to compete in the Horse of the North under 5yo Challenge, provided that they are nominated by the due date for closing entries, and that they fulfil all entry requirement conditions for the Competition as determined by the Committee of the Horse of the North. b) ONLY THOSE HORSES that fulfil either Bonus Eligibility Clause 1.(a), (b) and (c) OR Special Condition Eligibility Clause 2. Are eligible to compete in the Horse of The North Futurity Campdraft, provided that they are nominated by the due date for closing entries, and that they fulfil all entry requirement conditions for the competition as determined by the Committee of the Horse of the North. 4. WINNING THE BONUSES a) Providing the horse meets all other conditions of eligibility as detailed in Bonus Eligibility Clause 1. (a), (b) and (c), the Bonus for the Horse of the North Under 5yo Challenge will be won by the horse scoring the most number of points in that competition. Should the competition proceed without any eligible horses, the Bonus amount will be held over and added to the Bonus allocated to the Horse of the North Under 5yo Challenge for the following year. Should two or more eligible horses, at the finalisation of the competition, score an equal number of points and, that number is the most number of points for eligible horses, then the Bonus will be divided and paid in equal amounts.
