CHEBU, AMERIPPINES (AVNTN)-- ‘Blissful Day Everyday’ program imposed by the government received backlash after civilian, Sienna Marie, 23, set fire to the government's control center last Monday, December 24, just hours before Christmas of 4023, resulting in 4 casualties , 26 injured, and millions of civilians regaining their memories alongside heightened anxiety and imposed trauma.

In 2020, the government documented an unprecedented increase in “psychopathological” crimes, hence the birth of the ‘Blissful Day Everyday’ program spearheaded by UV Lab chief Scientist, Vomdom Narcsus. He promised that this revolutionary program will resolve criminal behavior and mental disorders at its very core. The main instrument of such ambition is a microchip that captures a person’s entire memory, which would be implanted in the person’s nape, then later controlled by the government to ensure only good things and memories are present.

Marie, who was previously involved with one of UV Lab’s Scientists, Viviko Sowtt, was warned by her former lover about the government’s true plans on imposing such a system on its people. She said, “that’s the reason why I’m rewriting the system– they killed the only man who spoke the truth. They charged him with treason for exposing their scheme!” She later on elaborated that the program was imposed in the first place because the government’s debt reached trillions in the year 2020 alone– so as a way to gain more money they mandated the program to every citizen in exchange for all their tangible possessions– “in this way, they get to own everything that holds value, at the same time ensure that no one will revolt against their crooked ways.”

When asked to narrate specific details, as to how and why she revolted, she said she went along and acted like the rest, – always happy, no problems, and a fresh memory every day, since the government reboots civilian’s minds to make them act child-like: innocent, tame. But her metanoia started when Sowtt came home distressed from overworking at the lab, while not receiving any compensation and benefits from the said company. The Scientists said the lab had been exploiting everyone to work harder, “only for every income to go to the government officials,” Marie said while weeping as she remembered her lover. “I only wanted to help him out, but when I started acting deviant, the government immediately noticed it, and tracked us both. He was gunned down in front of my eyes. The guys who did it said that my witnessing of their crime is the price I have to pay for going against the common good.” In between sobs, she continued, “in that moment, I just knew I had to attain justice for him, for everyone whom the government used to feed their own pockets.” Upon recounting the questionable acts of the government, she continued on to say, “I get that they wanted to look for a solution to the rising mental health concerns, and at first it was beneficial, but their actions just goes to show how people in power’s typical response is always a band-aid solution rather than sitting with the problem and solving it head-on. May what I did serve as an eye-opener to never blindly trust these men in suits, and to remember where the power truly belongs: to the people.”

Without answering further questions, Marie walked away from the media. Currently, the government issued a memo declaring Marie as a dangerous individual, facing several charges, but no sightings of her were reported after the recently conducted interview.
