STARTI NG JUNE 3 Join us for the community dedication of Patriot Plaza on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at 10 am at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota Created through a first-ever public-private partnership with the National Cemetery Administration, Patriot Plaza, a 2,800-seat ceremonial amphitheater, is fully funded by The Patterson Foundation and will honor veterans and their families for generations to come.

Dedication Events At a Glance
Tickets are required for this FREE event and are available first come, first served starting June 3.
Activities start at 8:30 am through 12:30 pm. The dedication ceremony will be from 10 am to 11:30 am.
• Limit up to 4 tickets per person • Tickets available while supplies last. • Docents to provide insight into the commissioned art throughout Patriot Plaza. • Legacy Zone featuring area organizations with programs supporting those who have served, are serving or may serve in our nation’s armed forces. • An opportunity to complete a postcard to a local veteran.
Pay it Forward Participating organizations are Legacy of Valor partners. • Manasota Operation Troop Support (MOTS) — Will collect items to send to US troops, such as individual-sized snacks (protein bars, beef jerky, trail mix, canned stew); powered drink mixes (coffee, lemonade); toiletries (white socks, floss, tooth brushes); and batteries (AAA and AA). • All Faiths Food Bank — Will collect non-perishable goods (no glass) for its Veterans Appreciation Program.
