Titans’ steady goaltending leads to 5-3 win over Norwich
Paris
All Josh Roman, a 21-year-old McMaster University student, wants to do is finish his junior hockey career with the Paris Titans. Josh’s steady goaltending was one of the reasons for last Saturday’s win against the Norwich Merchants

Josh, like many others his age, had his junior career interrupted, by Covid cancelling a season of hockey. When hockey started up, he actually commuted from Hamilton, to play Junior hockey in Little Britain, a town a few kilometres outside of Peterborough showing his determination to compete

Josh put aside 31 shots, in the Titans’ 5-3 win over Norwich, with goals coming from Simon Otaki, Thomas Lonsdale, Christian
Campanelli and 2 goals from Tyler Crisostomo. One of the concerns about the Titans were the number of penalties they had to kill while sitting in the sin bin; Saturday the team only visited the penalty box twice.
The Titans travelled to Tavistock to meet the Braves last tonight (details not available by press deadline) and they face the Hespeler Shamrocks tonight at the Brant Sports Complex for a 7:30 PM puck drop.
Top left, Paris Titans goalie Josh Roman made 34 saves last Saturday night as the Titans cruised over the Norwich Merchants 5-3. Above, Thomas Lonsdale had a goal at the 4:19 mark of the second period. To the left, Christian Campanelli scores Paris’ last goal in the third period to secure the win.
There was plenty of reasons to celebrate last Saturday as the Titans picked up another win in front of a packed hometown crowd. Far left, Simon Otaki greets some young hockey fans in the hallway after the game and celebrates with teammates after the win. Also above, Thomas Campanelli celebrates a goal. The Titans also featured a puck toss competition between periods, which was a hit with young fans.
