May is an ideal month for lakeside picnics with Mom. It’s a time for hiking, biking, pontoon sunset cruises, and night-time bonfires. The days are warming brilliantly, and the evenings maintain a touch of cool. In May, we fully reacquaint ourselves with nature, we shake out our legs from a season indoors, and we jump in with both feet.
And where better to jump in than right here, in Kosciusko County?
Formed in 1836, Kosciusko County offers something for everyone— whether it’s a scenic walking path or hiking adventure, water-loving interests + watercraft at any speed, dining for fine tastes, bar food, or lakeside spirits— or just a day of quaint shopping and coffee with the gals.
It’s why we choose to call our region ‘home.’ For both adventurous splashes and tranquil moments. For laughter, wild times, quiet moments, and simple hugs. It’s what lake life is all about. And it takes place right here, within Kosciusko County.
