We are tired of hearing about it, but COVID-19 has impacted every area of our lives, including our ability to travel. Because of this, many people turned to camping to get away while remaining safe. But tent camping isn’t for everyone. More and more, people are looking for a “glamping” experience: glamour + camping= glamping!

Glamping became popular in the early 2010s, but COVID propelled it to a new level of popularity. It has become so popular that several websites have popped up offering exclusive and luxurious glamping experiences. We’ve outlined some below. Here are some tips: 1. Buy or rent a travel trailer or pop-up camper and reserve a camping site at a local campground or state park. Just because you are camping doesn’t mean you should be without the comforts of home. 3. If your unit has a TV and DVD player, plan a movie night.

Bring a box of your favorite movies and pack up some microwave popcorn. 4. Load up on smores. A new twist on the classic favorite is to substitute Reese peanut butter cups for the traditional chocolate bar. 5. Pack a portable hammock. There’s nothing better than relaxing under the stars in a comfy hammock.
