Welcome to The Other Palace After months of planning, playing and praying, here we are - the grand unveiling of The Other Palace. Along with a brilliant range of productions we are also happy to reveal our initiatives which will fill every corner of the building. They have been deliberately designed to be as fluid, informal and inclusive as possible. We want writers, producers and audiences to have a conversation with each other in a way which is constructive, open and forward-thinking. The only rule is there are no rules. We want to know what you think. We want to know what you feel. We want The Other Palace to be an open space where you, the audience, are as much a part of it as the actors, writers and theatre-makers. We are so excited to share our first season of shows with you and can't wait to truly make The Other Palace the home of musical theatre.Â

The Wild Party Book, Music & Lyrics by Michael John LaChiusa Book by George C. Wolfe

Mon 13 Feb-Sat 1 Apr Mon-Sat 7:30pm Thurs & Sat 2:30pm £5-£65

When was the last time we had a real party? The hugely acclaimed The Wild Party makes its UK premiere. Directed and choreographed by 2016 Olivier Award winner Drew McOnie (In the Heights) and starring the Tony Award-winning Frances Ruffelle (Les Misérables), don't miss this sizzling new production of the Tony Awardnominated sensation. A glittering, blackly comic musical set against the backdrop of Manhattan decadence and 1920s excess. The Wild Party tells the story of Queenie and Burrs, a vaudeville showgirl and vaudeville clown, who decide to throw the party to end all parties in a bid to save their toxic relationship. But as the gin flows, the jazz swings and the sexual tension smoulders, debauchery soon turns to tragedy, as even the wildest of parties can't last forever.

Murder for Two Book & Music by Joe Kinosian Book & Lyrics by Kellen Blair

A new musical comedy that puts the laughter in manslaughter A hilarious, hectic, high-energy musical whodunit, Murder For Two is a madcap murder mystery with a twist. Two actors play 13 characters and the piano in this acclaimed new musical. A loving homage to the canon of murder mystery plays, Murder For Two is a hysterical blend of music, mayhem and murder. «««« "Impossible to resist" WhatsOnStage «««« "Dippy and zippy American musical comedy whodunnit. Dial v for virtuosity."

From the Olivier award-winning producer of the West End hits Top Hat, The Play That Goes Wrong and Hetty Feather Federico Fellini's La Strada (The Road) is one of the true masterpieces of modern cinema, winning the Academy Award in 1957 for the movie starring Anthony Quinn. This visually stunning new stage adaptation directed by Olivier Award nominee Sally Cookson (Jane Eyre National Theatre, Hetty Feather West End), boasts a beautiful score by Benji Bower, with songs performed live on stage by a multi-talented cast. The story of wide-eyed Gelsomina, who is sold by her penniless mother to Zampano, a travelling sideshow strongman, unfolds as they journey through the Italian countryside performing for their keep.
