All membership fees are yearly. We can accept cheque or cash payment, or you may prefer to pay by direct debit.
Become a Friend today and start enjoying a wide range of benefits, it’s quick and easy to do! The gallery is home to the distinguished Garman Ryan Collection, donated to the Borough of Walsall by Lady Kathleen Epstein (née Garman) in 1973. It consists of 365 works of art in many different media and from diverse periods and cultures around the world. The galleries chart the long, productive and often controversial career of Jacob Epstein, and serve as a memorial to Epstein’s extraordinary circle of family and friends that included the artists Augustus John, Modigliani, Gaudier-Brzeska and Epstein’s son-in-law, Lucian Freud. The changing exhibition programme on Floors 3 and 4 focuses on the contemporary visual arts, presenting both solo and group shows. Alongside the artists’ projects we support and develop the work of living artists at different stages of their careers and aspire to build and develop audiences for the visual arts. 2014 is the 40th Anniversary of the opening of the Garman Ryan Collection.
