ATURDAY November 22 will always be remembered by the families of Mr Ebenezer Oladipupo and Chief Olalekan Olaleye as they became one following the union of their children, Olatunbosun of Airtel Nigeria and Temitope, a student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG). Family members and friends turned out in large numbers to rejoice with them at the Ijamido Town Hall in Iganmode, Ota, Ogun State. Many of the guests were in the teal green and coral lace Aso Ebi with matching caps and headgears; some wore choice traditional attires. The hall was filled. It was decorated in white, teal green and coral satin to match the chairs set round tables with flower vases on them. Guests exchanged pleasantries before the event started. The groom arrived in a blue Toyota Camry. He looked good in cream lace buba and sokoto with carton colour Aso Oke as Agbada and a befitting cap. The bride was a beauty to behold. She came in Ash Acura MDX Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV). She was in teal green buba with carton colour iro, ipele, headgear, and a pair of shoes. Her neck and wrist beads complemented her beauty. The couple were the cynosure of all eyes. Olatunbosun and Temitope took turns to prostrate and kneel down for blessings from their parents. They later exchanged rings following which the gathering stretched their hands to bless them. At the reception followed, Samy Rock Music band led by Samuel Odusola entertained guests. troduced some guests and called for the entry of the couple. They were cheered into the hall amid

songs, standing ovation and photographs by guests. Olatunbosun had changed his cloth to a ash coloured

suit, white shirt and lemon tie while his beau changed to a white flowery gown with veil. They danced for some minutes and were sprayed new naira notes. The chairman on the occasion, Pastor Samuel Owatunde in his remark, thanked God for both families. Pastor Owatunde said marriage is honourable, sacred and a covenant. He urged Olatunbosun to take his wife as his best friend. He told the bride to respect her husband. “Marriage is a wonderful thing to

God and man. It is honourable to God and not optional,” he said. The emcee led the couple to cut the cake. Both fed each other and sealed it with kisses before the dance floor was thrown open. The bride described her husband as loving and caring. The groom said Temitope is caring and understanding. The groom’s father, Chief Olaleye enjoined the couple to read the word of God at all times. The bride’s father, Mr Oladipupo advised them not to allow third party but to love themselves.
