There’s nothing like mountain air for recharging and spending quality family time together. The long travel is well worth the destination at the end! We present you with a selection of hand-picked attractions that give you a taste of everything, but if you wish to explore more of the White Mountain offerings, there is an endless amount of places to visit, hike, and bike in the area. There is minyan in Bethlehem and in Lincoln, so we based the attractions around there. All travel times are calculated according to the minyan locations in Lincoln and Bethlehem.

Lake Winnipesaukee is the largest lake in New Hampshire, with seventy-two square miles of clear blue water set against a backdrop of majestic mountains. There are beautiful homes lining the banks and islands, and large boats cruising by. This is a boaters’ paradise, with several boat rentals in the area, as well as a lovely retreat for anyone who want to enjoy the numerous quiet coves or the wide open areas with breathtaking views. This is a worthwhile detour to take on the way to or from New Hampshire, as it is south of the White Mountains.
