Millwater Women’s Group Our 18th November 2015 meeting is a chance for you all to clean out your wardrobe and make some much needed space available. We are holding a “Second-hand Rose” swap meet at Silverdale Pioneer Village from 9.30am-on, morning tea as usual and then we will auction off the goods. Keep in mind that your “Reject” may end as a “Precious” wardrobe item for some lucky person. Please bring clean, good condition items to swap… clothes, bags, accessories (scarves, jewellery etc, etc). We will put a nominal sum of $1.00 on each item but if two people would like the item then an auction can take place at 50c bids. All items left can either be taken home by you or, if you wish, we can donate to the Women’s Refuge Shop in Silverdale. This should be loads of fun and gives us all the chance to have a good clean-out of those “didn’t work out so well” items. All money raised on the day from items sold will be donated to the Pioneer Village to assist with their expenses.
