Just a falafel

Aditya Singh

Jaipur: Falafel is staple Middle Eastern dish—and a popular street food around the world— that consists of fried spiced balls or patties of ground chickpeas or fava beans (or a mixture of both) stuffed into a pita or wrapped in laffa bread with hot sauce, tahini sauce, and generally some salad like combination of tomato, lettuce, cucumber, onion, parsley, and yogurt. Falafel may refer either to the balls or patties or to the sandwich. Budding journalist Aditya Singh tried the Falafel platter at TGIHThank God It’s Healthy. No doubt, the dish tasted amazing with the pita bread stuffed with tahini sauce, salad on the side and some fired balls of chickpeas which were mouth watering plus chickpeas are raw source of protein and Tahini is made from toasted and ground sesame seeds.

It is rich in important nutrients like fibre, protein, copper, phosphorus, and selenium and may reduce heart disease risk and inflammation. The bread used in Falafel is Pita bread which is low in calories, it is also a rich source of protein and carbohydrate and contains adequate amount of vitamin B, selenium and manganese that work together as antioxidants. The dish was worth its cost (INR 175), one should definitely try it. No wonder Middle Eastern people are so fit because they usually get all the nutrients from just a Falafel.

The Family Man

The wait is totally worth for this espionage thriller

Rahul Nambiar Jaipur: When the first season of The Family Man came in 2019 it created a huge buzz and became a sensational hit before ending as a cliffhanger. This made people wait for its second season and it was a two year long wait for the people. The wait ended on 3rd June when its whole season started to stream on Amazon Prime. Once again this epic espionage thriller won hearts of people with nerve wrecking twists, a beautiful story

and an amazing Star cast. The Story once again revolves around Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) who has now left the TASC and joined Corporate Software Company for more salary to manage his family better. But mentally he is still a spy. He always enquires about the missions and situations from his colleague in TASC and his best amigo JK Talpade (Sharib Hashmi). TASC now has a huge and humungous nemesis in front of them as now Rebels from Sri Lanka along with ISI

are planning very nasty things against India. Tiwari needs to stop this by hook or by crook. He ultimately returns to TASC to

nip the conspiracy. Besides, he is also grappling with his family issues. You need to see this whole season.

About the performance, once again it is a masterclass from Bajpayee. He once again proves why he is one of the brilliant actors in Indian Cinema, But the surprise package is Samantha Akkineni as Rajji. She is a famous actress from down south but justifies her character with sheer elegance. Other Actors like Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Sunny Hinduja Darshan Kumar and Shahab have played their parts very well. The cinematography and direction are also excellent.
