Mesa Commons The main cafeteria is located inside the MC building on the 1st floor and has a variety of delicious options for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast: Mon - Thurs 9-10:30 a.m. Lunch: Mon - Thurs 11 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. Terrace Cafe For a caffeine fix to help you through those mid terms, visit the Terrace Cafe, located on the 4th floor of the I-400 Building. M Stop Need a quick snack to refuel between classes? Stop at M Stop, located next to Mesa Commons. Mesa 72Fifty Let Mesa’s culinary students cook for you in their campus restaurant, located on the top floor of the MC building. Or order online: FOOD

General Counseling Let Mesa’s counselors assist you with your academic goals. Located in I4-303. Financial Aid Need assistance paying for college? Mesa’s experts can help. Located in I4-107. Transfer Center Not sure where to go after Mesa? Stop by the Transfer Center in I4-306. Disability Services Any student who has a disability or medical condition that impacts learning can obtain services in I4-405. Veterans Services Veterans and relatives of veterans can find important resources in I4-102. COUNSELING&OTHERSERVICES

Student Health Services Whether you need a COVID-19 test/vaccine or feel under the weather, our nurse practitioners and mental health counsel ors can help. Located in I4-209. ResourceLibrary/LearningCenter The Library is here to support you in-person and online for your research and resource needs. Student ID Cards Student ID Cards are needed for a variety of services and activities on campus. Get yours at the Admissions Office in I4-102. Mesa Athletics Cheer on your Mesa Olympians this semester at one of the many sporting events on campus. The Quad Study, hang out, or just chill between classes on the campus quad. Mesa Wi-Fi Need to connect? Mesa’s Wi-Fi has you covered.

Hands currently lives in Chula Vista with her husband, Ron nie Hands, who have known each other since high school. She is also a mother of two young adult children: Jordan Hands, a grad uate student at San Diego State University, and Jaylen Hands, a professional basketball player in Greece.

New president puts Mesa in good Hands

Hands joined Mesa College in 2008 as the Dean of Student Affairs. She then became acting Dean of Student Development and HandsMatriculation.replaces Dr. Pamela Luster, who retired after 11 years as Mesa’s president.

Dr. Ashanti Hands be gins her tenure as President of San Diego Mesa College this fall after serving as vice president of student services since 2016. “I am humbled to be selected for the presidency of the very college I have called home for more than 14 years,” she said. “The ability to live my purpose of creating conditions that mat ter for students to succeed at a college so deeply commit ted to equity and excellence brings me immense joy. I am excited to continue the great work we have started at Mesa College and look for ward to the bold, courageous, equity-minded ways we will show up for our students, each other, our district and community.”
