Nestled amongst breathtaking moorland scenery, it is a local landmark within the Peak District National Park, yet only 20 minutes drive from Sheffield centre. Over the centuries The Strines Inn has gained and maintained a well-deserved reputation for good quality traditional English home made food, much of which is made on the premises and cooked to order. The menu includes firm favourites: - the pies are particularly popular, and visitors never fail to be impressed as to how giant the giant Yorkshire Puddings actually are! There is a generous choice of vegetarian dishes, and for children we have a special menu with the same quality foods in smaller quantities to promote healthy eating. At the bar is a Specials Board that is updated daily providing the latest choices of soups, pies, fresh fish and desserts as well as the current one-off dishes.
