Andrew Heiberger is the Co-Founder, CEO and Co-Chairman of TOWN Residential, Manhattan’s leading full-service luxury real estate firms. A successful entrepreneur and New York real estate industry veteran, Andrew has founded and served as CEO of several successful companies, including Citi Habitats, one of Manhattan’s largest residential brokerages, and Buttonwood Development, a Manhattan-based real estate development firm. As the Founder of TOWN Residential, Andrew has been the driving force behind the company’s business strategy and long-term vision. Since launching in December 2010, TOWN has opened ten offices, housing a team of over 570 licensed representatives and staff. By providing both its clients and its representatives with exceptional service and a wealth of resources, TOWN is committed to redefining the way in which a real estate services company operates and delivers. A passion for real estate began at a young age for Andrew, working with his family to trade land and sell property on Long Island at the age of 16. In 1994, at the age of 26 and just out of law school, Andrew founded Citi Habitats, his first residential real estate brokerage. Over the next 10 years, he orchestrated the company’s tremendous growth from two brokers in one office to over 1,000 licensed representatives and staff in 20 locations throughout Manhattan. In June of 2004, Citi Habitats was acquired by NRT Incorporated, a subsidiary of Cendant Corporation (NYSE: CD). In June of 2005, Andrew founded Buttonwood Development, focusing on real estate development, investment and syndication in New York City. Under his leadership, Buttonwood successfully developed Greenwich Club Residences, a 452-unit condominium conversion located at 88 Greenwich Street. The property emerged as downtown Manhattan’s most successful condominium development, achieving a complete sell-out generating over $340 million in residential sales. The partnership also repositioned and retained the building’s 52,000 square feet of commercial space on the first two floors. Buttonwood has also participated in the development of additional properties throughout Manhattan, including the assemblage, planning and sale of Sundari Lofts and Tower, a proposed 26-story luxury condominium at 158 Madison Avenue, and the gut renovation, repositioning and marketing of One Rector Park, a 174-unit condominium development in Battery Park City. Buttonwood continues to evaluate potential acquisitions on a case-by-case basis.

DOWNTOWN UNION SQUARE A popular “town square” of sorts, Union Square is one of the city’s most exciting spots, where upscale restaurants and well-trafficked destination shops meet a group of bohemian lofts and luxury high rises. SOHO The mere mention of art galleries, designer shops, quaint cafes and loft spaces will bring to mind in most New Yorkers, or even those mildly familiar with the city, one place: SoHo. GREENWICH VILLAGE Greenwich Village has deep roots in New York’s diverse history that are still very evident today. Taking a stroll down any of its seemingly unchanged streets gives tourists and long-time residents a taste of a neighborhood brimming with an eclectic array of offbeat culture, vibrant commerce, academic history and old-day aristocracy. TRIBECA Defined largely by its warehouse spaces turned into lofts, and polished high rises with a mix of asphalt and cobblestone streets, Tribeca is the quiet calm nestled between the bustle of Chinatown and the Financial District. FINANCIAL DISTRICT Towering office complexes meld with old world conversions and new luxurious residential constructions in the Financial District. Tourists, vendors and corporate workers mesh in a daily dance amongst everyday conveniences ranging from coffee shops and quick lunch spots to fine dining and shopping. EAST VILLAGE Home to the iconic Astor Place, the East Village is the place to experience an eclectic array of authentic restaurants, rustic bars, and late-night clubs. BROOKLYN Brooklyn offers the proverbial something for everyone. It includes Brooklyn Heights, with its eclectic mix of brownstones and mansions, and some of the most picturesque streetscapes in the City, as well as panoramic views of Manhattan. Its neighbor, DUMBO, is the quintessential retreat for those fond of spacious loft living, galleries, converted factories, and Belgian Block streets. Both neighborhoods provide one with ready access to Downtown Brooklyn, one of the largest and most rapidly developing of the City’s central business and residential districts. And, just a short walk away from Downtown Brooklyn are the neighborhoods of Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, and Carroll Gardens, all of which are home to tree-lined streets, brownstones, shoppers, and gourmands who truly wish to experience the diversity of this enormous borough.
