Open House As part of our 50th anniversary celebrations, we are giving our viewers a chance to get right inside CTV Calgary on a station tour to see firsthand how our operation works. CTV Calgary will be opening our doors to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 25. Light refreshments will be provided and you'll even be able to take pictures of yourself on our news set (don't forget to bring your camera!). Parking for the open house will be at the St. Michael Parish Church located at 800 85 Street S.W. Shuttle buses will be running to bring visitors up to the station on Broadcast Hill. Click here or the link to the right to print off a map to the parking lot.

The Buck Shot Show For 30 years, The Buck Shot Show entertained children in Calgary. A broadcast institution in our city, the show was filmed in front of a live studio audience and ran over the lunch hour. When the series wrapped up, it was the longest running children's television program in Canadian history. The cast of the show will be returning to our studios to tape a holiday episode of the popular series. Buck Shot will also be at our open house on September 25 to meet with station visitors. Click here or the link to the right for more information about The Buck Shot Show and how to get tickets to be a member of the studio audience.

Looking Back, Looking Forward A lot of things have changed since CFCNTV signed onto the airwaves 50 years ago. But our commitment to our viewers in Calgary and Southern Alberta remains unchanged. Every Thursday on the CTV News at 6, we'll be looking back on the rich history of many of Calgary's signature attractions and organizations with a special news report. We're also looking ahead to the future to see what the next 50 years holds for our city and province.
