On your bike!
Southampton offers so much as a city and it’s green spaces and surrounding parks make a great active day out! Head down to Town Quay where you can pick up the Hythe Ferry to the small village of Hythe. Here you can hire some bikes from Cycle Experience. Once you’ve got your bikes make your way out of the village and before you know it you’ll be in The New Forest! This stunning National Park makes a great day out when you’re in Southampton and fancy a bit of peace and serenity.
An experience to remember
A mere 5 mile cycle from Hythe and you’ll find yourself in the picturesque village of Beaulieu. Here you’ll find Fairweather’s Garden Centre, home to Steff’s Kitchen, where you can enjoy a well deserved coffee and cake break!
Keep your active day going and pop in to New Forest Activities on Beaulieu High Street and you could enjoy paddling on the Beaulieu River or Archery in the forest (pre-booking recommended). You could find some great walk-in deals available and don’t forget your voucher on page 27. Whilst in the village Beaulieu’s boutique shops are great locations to get some unique gifts and keepsakes from your visit.

It’d be silly to visit Beaulieu and not head to the International Motor Museum and visitor attraction! Spend your afternoon here at Beaulieu, one inclusive ticket provides access to The National Motor Museum, World of Top Gear, Palace House & Gardens, Beaulieu Abbey, and unlimited rides on the Monorail & Veteran Bus; certainly plenty to keep you entertained!
