BOW THRUSTER Benefits DESCRIPTION
The SS340 Bow Thruster from Sideshift is perfect for most boats up to 45' in length; the unit mounts on the exterior of a V-shaped bow. This creates a forward pivot point that gives the boater optimum control. No expensive tunnel in the hull is required and all mounting holes are above the waterline. Offering an immediate response with its powerful water cooled 12V motor, the heavy-duty 8" aluminum propellers quickly pull the boat quietly and smoothly. Saltwater proven, the rugged aluminum and stainless steel bow thruster is anode protected to prevent corrosion. It is finished with anti-fouling paint over epoxy primer. Shipped as a complete kit with thruster, controller, wireless joystick, wiring and hardware, installation usually takes less than a day.

Since 2001, this epic race across the unpredictable Cook Strait has combined the excitment of offshore racing with the exhilaration of releasing a new vintage of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc into our capital city from the mainland. This unique yacht race is loosly based on the traditional Beaujolais Nouveau where the first Beaujolais wines were transported from France to the UK. Starting just outside the entrance to Tory Channel in the Marlborough Sounds, our hardy skippers push the limits of their yachts and crew in potentially testing condtions to be the first to deliver their wine across the finish line in Wellington Harbour. In 2016, 43 yachts with 258 crew representing 31 wineries raced across Cook Strait, all safely arriving with their bottle of Sauvignon Blanc intact. Excitement is building for the 2017 WineWorks Marlborough Wine Race, the date has been set for Friday 1 December with this year seeing two significant developments to the format. To reflect the diversity of grapes grown in Marlborough, our wineries will be able to enter any or all of their labels, and this year for the first time, we have introduced the Wine Marlborough Twilight Series to be held over three Friday evenings prior to race day.
