excellent teachers and administrators, as well as best-in-class facilities, resources

Lovett offers all of these opportunities to each of our children’s unique strengths and interests.
Share a story or a moment that was quintessential Lovett. On the first day of Kindergarten my
daughter, Cleo, now a junior, refused to
get out of the car. Cleo was a shy, timid,
and nervous 5 year old. Judy Jenks, then principal of the Lower School, promptly hopped into my SUV and pulled Cleo
her to swallow on her first day. When I

again. When I asked her what was wrong, she replied “I don’t want to go home!
We are getting ready to make brownies!” This story has been repeated many times to Lovett friends, families, and teachers
over the years and it is a perfect example of how compassionate and caring the
teachers, faculty, and administration are at Lovett.

Why is it important for your family to support the True Blue Annual Fund every year? An institution like Lovett provides
us with the opportunity to make an
impact on the environment where our
children learn and grow. Contributing to the Annual Fund gives us peace of mind
that we are investing in the school for the right reasons, and we see the returns in
the areas that make the most difference to our children.
What would you say to others to encourage them to invest their time, talent, and/or treasure? As parents, our responsibility is to
provide the support, encouragement,
and access to resources for our children to learn, grown, and prosper to their fullest potential. In our 11 years at
Lovett, we have not been disappointed with our investment in the school. As
with all investments, they take time and communication. We have found our
greatest rewards come when we take
an active role in the school and in our children’s experiences at Lovett.
