Christine Lakin was featured in the recent Garry Marshall movie, Mothers Day, with Julia Roberts. Her voice can be heard in video games “Rainbow Six” and Tom Clancy’s “The Division,” as well as the first two seasons of AMC’s The Walking Dead game as Jane. She regularly voices Joyce Kinney on Family Guy and Sumo’s mom on Clarence, as well as multiple audiobooks. She is executive producing and starring in a loosely scripted comedy, entitled Hollywood Darlings, for the Pop Network this fall alongside Jodie Sweetin and Beverley Mitchell. Christine also choreographs for ABC’s The Goldbergs, which returns this fall for season four. Her work can be seen on Westworld for JJ Abrams/HBO and the film Handsome on Netflix. She is writing scripted comedy, having developed various projects with MTV, Imperative, and Davis Entertainment.

Heyward Morris Fougerousse, mother of Lovett students Em (Grade 4) and Page (Grade 1), has an art studio in her house where she paint’s large canvases and any other surface that moves her. Heyward donates large abstract paintings to local auctions and gives paintings to friends and family. She is also involved in art-oriented volunteer work at Lovett both in the classroom with Project Based Learning and chairing the Lower School Spring Arts Festival. Lauren Logan Hooks works as an Associate for Sally Logan Interiors and has several fellow Lovett clients, including Ryan Smith Dunlap, Sumner Caudell Bradshaw, Dorothy Marshall Christians, Julie Muir Harlan, and Susan Caudell Harris. Chuck Eitel has been playing guitar for 22 years and has played multiple gigs ranging from small bar venues to venues in Nashville with over 800 attendees. He is currently playing in an Atlanta band and can be found at venues like Rock N Taco, playing mostly 90’s rock music. Chuck worked at Gibson and Peavey Electronics over the last five years. A fun fact about Chuck is that his brother-in-law, Sam Farrar, is in Maroon 5. Andrew Altenbach is Music Director of Opera at the Boston Conservatory and Artistic Director and Conductor of the Minnesota Bach Ensemble. He is an established symphonic and operatic conductor who continues to garner national attention as a musical leader of his generation.

As told by: Bowdre George Longo, Class Leader David Garner writes chamber, orchestral, and electroacoustic works that often draw on other music as a point of departure, from Beethoven to bluegrass. Awards include a Charles Ives Scholarship from the American Academy of Arts & Letters, an ASCAP Young Composer Award, and first prizes in the OSSIA, Red Note, and NACUSA competitions. He is currently working on a new work for fiddle and string quartet commissioned by the Ciompi Quartet to be premiered in Spring 2017. David will begin this fall as Assistant Professor of Composition and Theory at the University of South Carolina. Michael McCord and his wife, Jami, welcomed Tucker Scott McCord to their family on August 18, 2015.

Patrick Abel married Jessup Shean on May 21, 2016, at the Maidstone Club in East Hampton, N.Y. Fellow Lovett alums Courtney Abel Dixon ’99, Lauren Goodwin Rollins ’99, Rick Rollins ’98, Patrick Fagan ’98, and Ross George ’98 joined in the celebration.
